Energy Management Control System

Integrated control is a tool that can provide you with many avenues to improve the facility management. Scheduling various ice temperatures and room temperatures to the appropriate activity will allow the most efficient operation of the building. This will result in reduced runtime and fewer stops/starts of the ice plant. In addition to the immediate savings in utility usage, it is important to remember that there is also the related long-term savings in maintenence costs plus extended life of the ice plant equipment. We typically see a reduction of approximately 25-35% in the ice plant runtime due to scheduling.

Historian Data Logging

Alta-West Group Ltd. automatically gathers all significant data and stores it on their server. Power usage, ice temperatures, arena air temperature, etc. are all saved and stored permanently.

Reporting and Analysis

Alta-West Group Ltd. will provide regular reporting of data collected from your arena. By contrasting your energy use to other similar arenas, it is useful to determine how efficiently you are scheduling and controlling your facility. We can also compare your results to your operation the previous day, week, month or season. This graph will illustrate the effectiveness of changes or equipment upgrades.

Remote Monitoring - Internet

Alta-West Group Ltd. provides access to your energy management system through Delta-Webserver. Anywhere that you have internet, you can check your system. This is password protected with limited changes allowed. Remote access is available also through UDP/IP where all changes and upgrades are possible. To login, use the username 'lights' and the password 'guest'. This will give you limited access to a Light Control Page.
